We have seen our pets happy. We have seen them wiggle their tails when their excited. And most importantly we have seen them bark when they do not like something.
But were you able to observe your pets more closely and notice how their actual face, not just their body, reacts to something? We’ll if you haven’t, we have here a full list of some cats and dogs trying to covey their emotions and feeling on a more literal level — their facial expressions.
“My cat was not impressed when a fox stopped by.”
“She just bit my finger and I was not happy about it!” (And she is not even sorry.)
“We tried taking a family photo.” (Maybe this is the cat’s idea of a “happy family photo”.)
“We accidentally fed him twice this morning…This was his face when we figured it out.”
“Moose looks like he belongs on a wanted poster.” (Moose can be a wanted dog actor, himself.)
“My sister’s cat was not in the mood for a selfie.” (And she’s not trying to hide anything based on her expression. We meant the cat, by the way.)
“Two days ago, my wife’s lifelong best friend Whiskey turned 21. Today, he blessed me with this moment.”
“I work as a dog groomer and I thought showing everyone how amazing this pup is would be a great first post.” (This pup is so happy to have been groomed.)
“My cat’s face before her bath.” (Is this the cat’s ‘don’t bathe me please’ face? It just looks too cute!)
“Her face after I told her that was not her bed and she needed to give it back”
“My dog when I finally get home from work”
“She is constantly judging my driving.” (I’m a better driver than you, says the dog.)
“My friend’s cat just sits there and judges you.”
“My dog’s facial expressions when I didn’t turn toward the dog park”
“Adopted this little dude yesterday. He’s been in a shelter for his whole life and he looks pretty happy to go to his first home.”
Well, what do you think about these pets facial expression? Did it convince you? Or did it made you anxious because of their staring? It really up to you what you will feel. For now, maybe you can share us some of your photos with your pets’ facial expressions, too. Maybe they are more expressive than these furballs.
