Neptune the German Shepherd is a popular pet in her neighborhood in St Martin’s, Scotland.
She has an unmistakable soft spot for kids and tiny critters and spends most of her time hanging out with the chickens, ducks, and cats on her family’s farm.
The family recently welcomed a fresh batch of ducklings, causing Neptune to be enticed like never before!
In this video, pretty little Neptune looks bewitched as she observes the ducklings play in a puddle. She hovers over the babies like a protective guardian and literally swoons over them with bedazzled eyes.
It’s almost like she’s under some spell as she keeps gazing at the ducklings with unflinching attention!
Neptune is so overwhelmed with emotions that she simply flops to the ground and begins admiring the ducklings with a sense of bewilderment.
She seems possessed, or lost in some other world altogether as she ignores the physical discomfort of the wet ground and continues her mesmerizing gestures.
It’s common to see dogs acting rambunctious around the creatures they like, but Neptune’s calm and gracious demeanor is something else entirely.
She derives pleasure from such simple things in life! She surely has the tender and sensitive soul which makes her an ardent lover of the wonders of creation!
